Marie
offers deep skills in full life-cycle talent acquisition,
career counseling, training, mentoring, and interfacing
with clients within the Information Technology space,
including "Big Four" consulting.
She is known for a keen sense of urgency and responsiveness,
and is firmly committed to providing a positive experience
to both clients and candidates by taking an open and
consultative approach.
During five years with Unisys, a worldwide information
technology services and solutions company, Marie recruited
Partners and senior level consulting professionals
and technology architects, while mentoring more junior
staff members. She supported clients within North America
in multiple Business Units, including Systems & Technology;
the Strategic Programs Office; Real Time Infrastructure;
Enterprise Security; and Microsoft Solutions, among others.
She served as the subject matter expert for the Office
of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs ("OFCCP")
Internet Applicant Regulation. Her expertise was utilized
in revamping the Behavioral Interviewing process for
technology architects; she developed and delivered
the training classes in web meeting format.
Earlier, Marie spent eight years with Accenture, a global
consulting, technology and outsourcing company, where she
specialized in recruiting for disciplines including, among
others: SAP, PeopleSoft, Supply Chain, and Strategy. She
hired consulting professionals though the Associate Partner
level. She also optimized the processes of the Accenture
Americas Service Center, which handled administrative functions
for HR and recruiting.
Marie began her recruiting career in the contingency search
arena, where she spent 13 years placing all levels of Information
Technology professionals including technical, executive,
sales, and marketing. During this time, she performed on-site
start-up talent acquisition during a two year engagement
with Andersen Consulting / Astra Merck.
Her prior experience was as an Information Technology professional
handling software development and implementations for clients
throughout the United States.
Marie's professional activities have included conducting
career transition workshops for outplaced professionals
with Right Management Consultants, as well as volunteering
with Inroads, providing interviewing skills workshops for
college students.
In her spare time, Marie enjoys knitting, cooking fine
food, working in the garden, and traveling to exotic destinations.
